Dentist
Mac graduated from Otago University in Dunedin with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery.
He is a young, thriving dentist who stays current with the latest techniques in dentistry, such as Biomimetic Dentistry and Vital Pulp Therapy. Additionally, he has a particular interest in surgical wisdom tooth extractions.
Mac is passionate about providing preventative dental care and education on how best to mitigate risks of dental diseases as well as getting people back on track with restorative transformations.
As a dental student, he organised a trip for 16 students who went to Peru for a month of dental volunteering, providing care for around 1000 children and adults in rural villages. Since becoming a dentist he regularly volunteers locally to provide dental relief to those who cannot reach a dentist.
Although from Wellington, he has settled into the Waikato and enjoys proximity to Pirongia, the Coromandel and Mt Ruapehu.
Mac is an avid squash player, often training before or after work, playing for Hamilton and Te Awamutu squash clubs.
He spends time outdoors biking, kayaking, or diving during the summer and skiing in the winter.
